Damnit, I did it again!! I went like two weeks without coming to this page...so bad...I need to stop doing that. And also I really want to get my new layout done, I love Oswald the Rabbit, but...just not on a Diaryland layout...plus the whole picture in the text box just doesn't work for me...I should change it now knowing well that it will take me forever to make a new layout. Aye yi yi... Last weekend was my birthday! *smiles* I'm finally 16, I don't know how many extra rights that gives me but oh well...I had a pretty fun b-day weekend...my friends came over on Saturday and we had a party...we cooked food (well not all of them just two...Gene and Andrew...probably mentioned before). Then my other friends Kourosh and Erin came later (one didn't want to cook, other sucks at cooking, not allowed in kitchen!)...jk...but um any ways...we played Dance Dance Revolution and sang karaoke then we went to the movies and saw "Chicago", my new favorite musical it's so good! Then we came back, deformed little dolls from the "Dollar Tree" and played this game called "Blind Date" but I don't want to explain...yup... Erin spent the night I think ... lol ... on Sunday I was really bored because my parents were out helping my Grandma fix up her new house so I stayed home and watched "The Sound of Music" for the first time...great movie...LOL. Then on Monday Erin and Gene came over around 10:30 so we can practice for our ensemble concert...I'll tell you about that later...Erin only stayed until around 12:30...we didn't get much done, then Andrew came over just as she was leaving...so while him and Gene were at my house we decided to walk around my neighborhood which is ghetto...and we bought a pizza and baked it along with whipped cream, and watched a ghetto Sailor Moon movie with subtitles. I don't remember much else. Any ways...on Thursday the...13th I think is the date, we had our ensemble concert and played "Yesterday" by the Beatles...some people said we sounded good, others say we sucked. Our ensemble consisted of me playing flute in high octave, Erin playing flute in low octave (she missed a couple of notes and added some but it sounded fine), Gene playing trumpet, and another friend Austin playing clarinet. Yup...we all had to pee really bad while performing...and besides that we were just amused so as soon as we walked out the door we started laughing. LOL. Let's see...Friday, Valentine's day, nothing special happened, went to "Sweet Tomatoes" w/ family, fell asleep early. Saturday, went to mall/movies with my friend Dayana. We ate at the whitest Chinese restaurant on the planet, "King Buffet". We played Dance Dance REvolution at arcade...and watched "Daredevil", I thought it was a good movie, better than I thought it would be and I suddenly want to dl it...and "The Recruit"...good movie...slow at some parts...and some things reminded me way too much of "Training Day"...luckily there was this one quote Al Pacino said that was really funny or else I was about to fall asleep towards the end of the movie. Yesterday I watched more musicals..."My Fair Lady" and the first 20 min or so of "The King and I", which I need to finish...and today I did all the homework I have due tomorrow... How special...there's my little update on my life...not that it's really that interesting.... Now I'm tired of typing, I'd like to continue with my thoughts on how life is right now and events to come and just stuff period but I'll do that later if I get bored, maybe I can work on my new layout...hmmm... much luv, Chrissy |
